Enterprise Account Executive
Position Summary
The enterprise account executive drives revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise-level clients, developing sales strategies, and expanding business opportunities with existing clients. This position will leverage sales expertise to develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understand their business needs, and present tailored solutions to drive value and exceed sales targets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new enterprise-level clients by identifying and targeting key decision-makers in target industries by understanding and executing on the client hiring persona.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling enterprise products and services.
- Present and demonstrate enterprise solutions to potential clients, showcasing their unique value propositions and addressing any objections or concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to generate leads and promote the company's brand.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of success in enterprise sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience (EdTech industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the enterprise sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, needs analysis, solution selling, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and solutions to executive-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise clients.
- Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise market dynamics.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and forecast revenue.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Reporting Relationship & Accountability
The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer
